Phnom Penh Crown FC won their second straight AFC Champions League Two 2026/27 match on Thursday, beating Gangwon FC 2-1 at Gangneung Stadium to go top of Group H on six points.

Moses Dyer scored the winner from the penalty spot in the 78th minute, taking his tally to three goals in two games. He scored both of Crown’s goals in their 2-1 opening win over Kuching City on 17 September. Gangwon, who drew their opener against Hong Kong’s Kitchee SC, sit third.

The first half was cagey. Dyer tested Gangwon goalkeeper Kim Yu-seong from distance in the tenth minute, but the shot took a deflection and was comfortably held. Crown had the better of the play, while Gangwon struggled to create anything in the final third for the opening half hour.

Lee Yong-jae finally tested Um Vichet in the 36th minute, but his 25-yard effort was tame. Cho Won-woo then skied a shot with only the keeper to beat.

Crown broke the deadlock a minute before half-time. Guytho Mijland controlled the ball with three defenders around him, then shot over the diving Kim into the top left corner.

Gangwon came out of the break more determined and levelled in the 61st minute. Rick Ketting stopped Park Sang-hyeok’s run into the box with a foul, and Abdalla Halaihal scored the penalty. Vichet went the right way, but the shot was too powerful.

Crown were awarded a spot-kick of their own in the 78th minute after Jeong Seung-bin brought down Dyer. The New Zealand international sent Kim the wrong way to restore the lead.

Vichet sealed the win late on with a superb save from Yoo Byung-heon’s fierce shot. The result leaves Oleg Starynskyi’s side with maximum points after two rounds.
